BMC

Explanation

BMC – SMC

Glass fiber reinforced polyesters (GRP) are a very good alternative to their equivalents such as metal, plastic and wood with the many advantages and superior features they offer. Parts that can be produced with the pressure molding method are widely used in production due to their features such as being suitable for mass production, design flexibility and easy production of parts with complex shapes, and having high surface quality.

The two main materials used in the pressure molding method are BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) and SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) pastes.

BMC

It can be defined as an intermediate product produced by mixing glass fibers of certain sizes with a suitable resin, filler material and different additives in the form of a slurry. The components in its content, the ratios of the components, their compatibility and interactions with each other and the process parameters directly affect the properties of the BMC paste obtained during the transformation process into the final product and afterwards. It is possible to create a customer-oriented product with changes in the components and the parameters in question.

TEZKOM KOMPOZİT offers its customers different products such as A class pastes suitable for the electrical sector, prepared for home appliance applications, used in the automotive sector, as well as pastes with high chemical resistance, high strength and flame retardant properties in its product portfolio. In addition, as a customer-specific solution partner, it ensures that the highest efficiency is obtained from the purchased paste.
